Meet Your Dentist

Longwood family dentist Nicholas Tanturri, DDS, treats patients age six and older.  Dr. Tanturri provides a wide variety of services including teeth cleanings, fillings, whitening, extractions, root canal therapy, periodontal disease treatment, crowns, bridges, dentures and partials, dental implant restorations, veneers and bone grafting.  

Dr. Tanturri is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He earned his dental degree at New York University College of Dentistry and completed his undergraduate studies at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.  He loves his work and the people he meets.

“My stepmother is a dentist, so it runs in the family,” Dr. Tanturri said. “I’ve always wanted to help people.  It feels good when I am able to help somebody get out of pain.  It feels great when I can show them how to take care of their oral health so it doesn’t happen again!”

Dr. Joel Silberman is an experienced orthodontist who has been fixing smiles since 1971. “I love seeing the benefits my patients receive from the orthodontic care I provide,” said Dr. Silberman. “It’s very gratifying.”

He starts seeing patients as young as six years old to determine what kind of orthodontic treatment they may need in the future.  He works with a friendly, caring team dedicated to helping you achieve the smile you desire.

Dr. Silberman earned his dental degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Biology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.

Dr. Silberman is a member of several professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity.
