Orthodontist Danny Bass, DMD, MS, offers a wide variety of services including early treatment, traditional braces, clear bracket braces, and clear aligners to correct orthodontic problems including crowding, crossbite, open bite, protruding teeth, teeth that erupted in the wrong place, gaps between teeth and jaw misalignment.
Dr. Bass will see patients as young as six years old, unless the child’s doctor or dentist has recommended an earlier evaluation. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children receive their first orthodontic consultation by age seven to spot any problems with jaw growth and emerging teeth.
Dr. Bass knew he wanted to be an orthodontist when he was 14 and was getting braces himself. “The whole time I was in treatment I thought, ‘My orthodontist has the best job in the world. He gets to have fun at work and make people smile!’” Dr. Bass said. "I decided then I wanted to have the same impact. I am passionate about transforming my patients' lives by increasing their self-confidence and giving them a reason to love their smile."
Dr. Bass earned his dental degree, master’s degree and his certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at University of Florida College of Dentistry in Gainesville, FL. He is a member of several professional affiliations including the American Association of Orthodontists, Florida Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
