Bonding

Bonding is a quick and affordable way to improve the appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, cracked, stained or unevenly spaced. Bonding can also be used to fill small cavities and protect exposed roots caused by gum recession. A color-matched resin bonding material is applied to natural teeth and hardened with a special light or chemical process.

Whitening

Over time, teeth often become dark and stained by food, beverages and tobacco. Professional whitening can dramatically enhance your smile and get your teeth up to 6-8 shades whiter. There are two types of professional whitening options, in-office and home treatment. Both professional options are stronger and more effective than over-the-counter products. All Coast Dental practices offer easy-to-use home treatment options. Custom-fitted trays filled with a whitening gel are worn for 3, 7 or 14 days. Many practices also offer Zoom! in-office whitening treatment that can provide the same great results in about an hour.

Invisalign braces alternative

Many Coast general dentists can help you get a beautiful, confident smile and correct gapped, crowded or crooked teeth without metal braces. They are certified to provide Invisalign, a clear alternative to traditional metal braces. The Invisalign system uses a series of clear, flexible aligners that comfortably move teeth.

The custom-molded aligners are changed about every 2 weeks as teeth gradually move to their desired positions. No unsightly metal braces or trips to an orthodontist needed. And best of all, the aligners are easily removed for eating and daily oral care.
