Dentistry is a family profession for Dr. Beth Yamashiro; both her father and her sister are also dentists. Dr. Yamashiro became an orthodontist so she could help people achieve the healthy, straight smiles they always wanted. She earned her certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics and her master’s degree in business administration at Roseman University of Health Sciences in Henderson, NV. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Dr. Yamashiro enjoys working with both children and adults and believes it’s never too late to have a beautiful smile. She sees patients starting at age 6. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children receive their first orthodontic consultation by age 7 to spot any problems with jaw growth and emerging teeth.
