Kamilah Sanford, DDS, enjoys shaping smiles that change the way her patients look and feel. Dr. Sanford offers a wide variety of services to correct orthodontic problems including crowding, crossbite, open bite, protruding teeth, teeth that erupted in the wrong place, gaps between teeth and jaw misalignment. She treats adults, teenagers and children starting at age 7. The American Association of Orthodontists recommends children see an orthodontist about age seven to identify any problems with jaw growth or tooth development. Early treatment can shorten the amount of time a child may need braces later.
But braces aren’t just for children. One in five orthodontic patients is an adult.
"I love watching my patients' self-confidence grow as their smiles become straight, healthy and beautiful," said Dr. Sanford.
Dr. Sanford is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. She earned her dental degree from University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry and completed her advanced orthodontics training at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics in Jacksonville, FL. When she’s not fixing smiles, Dr. Sanford enjoys traveling and horseback riding.
