Can I straighten my smile from home?
Of course! Your invisible aligners ship directly to you and you are free to take your smile journey from the comfort of home. Alternatively, you can have them shipped to your local Coast Dental practice; and since they all arrive in one package, you save yourself multiple trips to the dentist. Teeth straightening at home with CoastClear Aligners® couldn’t be easier!
How do I take care of my aligners?
While our dental aligners are crystal clear, they will need to be cleaned daily – just like the teeth already in your mouth. However, unlike your natural teeth, our CoastClear Aligners® can be taken out while eating or drinking and placed in the provided carrying case until they are ready to go back in your mouth.
To clean your CoastClear Aligners®, use a soft-bristle toothbrush and simply lather them up with liquid soap and lukewarm water, then rinse when they are sufficiently clear of any debris. Incorporating this into your nightly routine will greatly improve your experience with our dental aligners and your overall oral health.

What happens after I complete my treatment?
After your teeth are straightened and you have completed your smile journey, you may wonder what’s next. As with any orthodontic treatment, it is recommended to use a retainer to prevent your teeth from shifting back into their original positions. Your orthodontist will tell you how long you need to wear your retainer, but for most patients it is about a year.
