Periodontist, Michael Quinn, is an experienced board certified periodontist who has been in practice for more than 20 years. He graduated from Clemson University with honors and received his dental degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed a general practice residency in the Air Force at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Dr. Quinn practiced general dentistry for six years and then pursued a Masters degree in Health Sciences and three year Certifi cate in Periodontology from the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2007, Dr. Quinn retired with the rank of Colonel from the United States Air Force Reserves. While with the reserves, he served on the Dental Advisory Board, operated a 23-man dental unit and lectured nationally on dental readiness during war time.

Dr. Quinn and his team want to make every visit as comfortable as possible. A variety of techniques are available to ease anxiety and ensure patients’ comfort during all procedures.

Nidhi Patel, DMD, is a highly skilled and compassionate dentist. Dr. Patel graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) in Bradenton, Florida. She also holds a Master of Medical Science degree from the University of Florida College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Dr. Patel is an active member of several clubs and organizations, including the American Dental Association. She served as a Research Assistant and Chair of the Give Kids A Smile Committee. Her extensive education and expertise allow her to perform services such as full mouth radiographs, root planning & debridement, emergency dental care, preventative management for oral health, bridges & crowns, surgical extractions, endodontic therapy, periodontal disease management, and more.

With clinical rotation experience at the LECOM Dental Clinics, Dr. Patel has curated detailed treatment plans and provided comprehensive dental care to a wide range of patients. She has also been involved in community outreach efforts, coordinating free treatments for pediatric patients in the Bradenton community. Interestingly, Dr. Patel has also participated in research on the anesthetic properties of Szechuan peppers in dental pain management. Dr. Patel's dedication to her profession, extensive clinical experience, and commitment to community service make her a highly respected and valuable member of the dental field.
