I am a professional singer and lost my teeth due to a bacteria I caught in a hospital that made my teeth fall out and ruined my singing. I tried other dentist in my area and only wound up with I’ll fitting dentures. Now that i’m better and able to return to doing what i’ve Been doing since i’m 3, I finally got a dentist who listened to me and realize I don’t have a desk job and my teeth are my instrument. Thank you Coast Dental for giving me hope and my life back. I highly recommend them.

I didn’t return for almost three years due to a bad experience I had last time. I was very happy to see how much this office had improved. All new, happy,experienced staff. Karen Thomas is awesome. She is the one remaining person that is still there from my last visit three years ago. The new dentist is great too. Glad I decided to give this location another chance.

I've been very pleased. Things that have gone wrong at other dentist visits have gone fine. The novocaine worked fine, the temporary crowns stayed on, the permanent crowns fit, and I got a written three year warranty on them. It's been really easy with no problems.

If she relocated, I would follow her...please stay there, Karen!

Upper denture was ready immediately after upper teeth were pulled and fit really well. Denture was used basically as a bandage for bleeding but 4 days later bleeding had stopped and teeth were given first adjustment and fit just fine. Very happy with this Dentist and his staff.

Everyone in this office and friendly and courteous. Appointments are easy to obtain when you really need it in a pinch! I've had major work done this past year and the hygienist/assistants/dentist are easy to talk to and very efficient. All procedures are explained well and done in a very caring manner. Thanks for a great team!!

I broke of part of my tooth just a few days before a planned three week vacation. Coast Dental got me in quickly and put on a temporary crown that worked great until I returned to get the permanent crown. Service was great all the way around.

I have not gone to see a Dentist in many years, with my insurance I was referred to Coast Dental. With my new patient exam they talked to me and told me things that needed to be dealt with and helped me with a plan to get all the work done. Paul Kramer did a Amazing job with the first part of the plan which was for 3 teeth extractions. best procedure! He was very nice, respectful and aware of my feelings and comfort. The healing process was just as wonderful, I left fully understanding the healing process as well as the wound care needed to have no unnecessary amount of uncomfortable pain, or problems. Dr. Kramer did not mangle or agitate the gums, or surrounding area during the extraction process so it left me with a satisfactory recovery and my office experience I would rate as a A+.

I had 3 back teeth pulled and normally I'm in pain the day after , I haven't been hurting at all , I haven't had to take any pain medication, I love my dentist he Rocks , I honestly couldn't ask for a better dentist! !! Absolutely love it here!

I don't like going to dentists but this one....I felt welcomed. After getting all teeth pulled I didn't feel a thing. I will definitely keep doing business with them. Referring people over to them. Driving an hour to this location is so worth it.

I have previously done the review and gave Coast Dental thd highest levels of superior work for both Dr Windom and his helpful staff. I was Completely Satisfied with everything regarding my visit and the workmanship and felt fortunate to finally locate and receive service from a dentist in the Saint Augustine area and will now always return to this location for future dental procedures. It is never fun to visit the dentist. However, I was smiling and laughing talking to the staff when I made my next appointment which I actually look forward to. I do not often provide such a glowing review, however in this case it is definitely worthy of such and I have referred everyone I know to Coast Dental.

I am so thankful that this dental office is willing to work with my Medicaid Insurance Plan. This office does not treat you like 'just another patient', they have done their best for me. My husband, Gregory, has dementia and does not walk. They treated him well and with courtesy and did a great job in a difficult situation. Gregory was very cooperative, but had difficulty following directions in order for them to get the best X-rays. The whole office staff was very helpful and pleasant. The doctor had a great bedside manner and was also very thorough and did a great job with Gregory's special needs.

The staff and Dr Windom are friendly and caring to provide the best treatment possible. Before my procedure everything was explained thoroughly, I have an issue with pain and Dr Windom made sure I did not feel anything with the extraction. They also made clear what the cost would be for me after insurance reimbursement for my course of necessary treatments..I am completely satified at this point with my treatment.

I appreciated being able to get an appointment quickly. Both the dentist and hygienist were friendly and attentive. I'm a bit suspicious that the need for periodontal care is a bit over-hyped, since my previous dentist never indicated a need. Also, I think the cost for this care is high, since it did not take very long. and was done by the hygienist. But this was the second dentist (I got two opinions) who recommended it. They did not get my insurance right and I had to bring in the policy to get it corrected. But, I do understand that dental insurance is complicated, and I also had this kind of problem with a previous dentist. So, overall, I give them good marks and would recommend them.

I was extremely satisfied. I don't believe that I could have went to a better place. The Dental treatment I received was excellent.

I dont wrote reviews very often, but I thought it was important to say how happy I was to start being treated here. Though I am at the beginning of an extensive treatment plan I was very relieved to be treated in a manner that quelled anxiety and informed me extensively. All questions I had were answered and extra time was taken to modify my existimg treatment plan to more perfectly fit my needs.

I came in to the office in a lot off pain from a bad cavity. I was told the dentist was completely booked for the day but was told he might could help me a couple hours later. I came back and saw the dentist, he was very kind and did everything he could to keep me calm while pulling my tooth. Overall I had a wonderful visit and the assistants were very kind as well.

Thank you for the friendly staff. If you all had Medicaid services you wouldn't be able to close your doors you would be so busy. There is NO ADULT Dental services that I know of in St Johns county that take Medicaid. I have Humana Insurance and I am happy with them and Coastal Dental. You just found a life long patient in me.

I have been a patient for years. Even though it is a good distance from where I live, I feel comfortable with their patient care and the services.

The team took extreme care describing my dental issues and situation. They also took great care and time exploring my best financial options and explaining them in detail. The Hygienist, Karen, performed an extremely detailed cleaning of my teeth and provided expert information on what to expect and how to "manage" my dental issues in the future. I feel I am in good hands and receiving top notch care at a reasonable price.

I don't like going to the dentist. Safe to say that I HATE to go to the dentist. The Coastal staff makes it ALMOST pleasant. They explain the procedures in depth, and do their best to minimize both fear and pain. It took some time to get an appointment, due to the office being between dentists, then the various insurance companies getting around to adding the new dentist to the plans. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

It is nice to meet the new guy. I appreciate tat e talk common sense and English. He doesn't flood you with medical jargon, its everyday English. He definitely knows what you want and suggest possibility.

Great practice. Because of insurance issues I cant rate everything like I would have if I was able to have my wisdom tooth pulled that day. they had me ready and then pulled the rug from underneath me. I'm now waiting on an authorization. So I'm sure ill be even more satisfied when I'm called back with an appointment. But overall I'm very satisfied with the service. Been to worse dentists and I really like this one

This is the best dental office I have ever been to bar none!!! I did not have this experience at the Coast Dental in Palm Coast, but I travel from Jacksonville to this office because the people and procedures are simply the best. Worth the travel time and gas.

Both visits to the Coast Dental in St. Augustine were great experiences, The staff was pleasant and efficient. My dentist, Dr, Shanta Singh was absolutely bar non the best I've ever had. If you can ever have a great experience at the dentist then this office is the place to go.

After receiving a thorough examine I was shocked at my bottom line. It was not the dental office to blame though. My insurance did not cover anything causing my bill to soar.

I arrived at my 9:15 appointment as a new patient to learn that my appointment was not in the book. I was worked in and I was there until noon. I had no idea that I would be there that long. This was not a good experience for me.

Was scheduled to have a cleaning as well as my crown inserted. Upon arrival they stated that they had to do x-rays again. I also did not receive the crown but it had to be cleaned out again. Hopefully I will get the crown as well as a cleaning due to that being promised on the previous visit. I have an appointment today. Hopefully it will go well.

I have been coming to your office for close to 3 years now and while the overall service has been acceptable, the cleaning has always fallen short of my expectations. On my last visit, Tuesday 8/20, it was the worst (least thorough) cleaning I have ever had. The entire procedure lasted 10-12 minutes. I left there feeling that I had just wasted my time and money. 6 months ago (feb 2013) there was a hygienist there that did an excellent job and I was hoping to see her again on this visit, but that was not the case.

FYI, parents gave me the link so I could rate. How FUN!! Thank you for seeing my brother & I yesterday. My 1st experience with you guys was AWESOME!!! I really liked the hometown feel. And BTW, you have a magazine(Food Network-March issue) in the waiting room that I really need to look at again so don't throw it away before we get back!!!! Please! The dental work itself (a crown in this case) seems to have been very well. My new crown fits great and I have no complaints. The wait in the waiting room was too long however. If I recall correctly, I actually got in the chair 45 minutes after my appointment time. I was told the problem was that they only had one seasoned assistant - it was the other assistants first day. Also, the appointment itself was supposed to have occurred on the previous day but was moved back a day due to some sort of equipment problems.

The Dentist was gentle. When she did my extractions, I didn't even feel the teeth come out. Pain at home that night and following day was minimal.

There were problems with my temporary crown and although everyone was very nice and the dentist very professional and corrected the issue I was in the chair a lot loner than I should have been and did experience a great deal of discomfort

My original appointment was for May 7, received call asking if I could come in early, appoinntment changed to May 3 at 12:40, at 1:10 asked how much longer was my wait they checked and said about 5 - 10 mins. At 1:30, I was asked if I could come back about 3:00. Said no came back on May 6 at 2:30, was taken on time.

Staff was friendly, but didn't seem to want to inform people in waiting room that the dentist was an hour behind. Entire appointment time was over two hours, very long wait and extremely frustrating for my son who was the patient.

I really hate going to the dentist. I can't say I enjoy it, but I do like the staff

This was my 3rd visit to Coast Dental. Upon arrival the receptionist said that I had never seen Dr. Singh. but I was examined by Dr. Singh on my 1st visit (including oral cancer test). Next they said that I had never completed a medical history form so while in the "chair" I had to fill out a 2nd form. Dr. Singh was very professional as was the dental tech assissting her. Only problem was that I had to wait for (tech) to complete notes before I could leave "chair". While drilling my teeth another patient came in and interrupted the Dr. with questions regarding his planned care so I was on hold until he left, this seemed very strange. I was scheduled for afternoon but they called to change it to 11 am. I was not taken until 11:45. Finally able to leave at 1:10 pm. ($220.00) visit.

I was scheduled to return for my crown on Thurs the 7th, at 3pm. Then I was called if I could come in at 2:30. Then I was called could I come in Fri the 8th at 2:30. Ok, I show up at 2:25, sign in. I was called back, seated in chair and drapped at 2:40. Then I sat there until 3:10 before anyone came to see me. While I was waiting I happened to notice the equipment was very dusty. That should be cleaned daily. Really not to sanitary. Then Kelly came and took of my tempory crown, cleaned the area, and I waited again while Kelly went to help someone else. She comes back tries the crown, calls Dr Singh to come over and I wait again. Then xrays are done. More waiting. Then Kelly goes and takes other xrays. Comes back and we wait for Dr Singh again. Finally I have my crown in. I leave at 4:10. Very unprofessional that they changed my appt and I had to wait to be seen at 3:10. Like I have nothing better to do. Not a happy camper tis time

Difficult extraction of tooth #21,was referred to oral surgeon,had tooth removed on wed 27th. healing o k 2 stitches to be removed in 1 wk. All work done by Dr singh and her assistant Kelly was professional and courteous and greatly appreciated

As per usual Dentist Singh and her assistant were both gentle and professional and got the job done without any discomfort to me and I am looking forward to continue on feb 25th 2013

I'm not fond of dentists. but I will say Kelly is great and very concerned for my comfort.I had to return the following day and again she was very concerned. Love her.

Thank you for the professional service rendered by the hygeneist on wed 6th of Feb 13,and for the courtesy extended by all the staff.

I had to wait an hour in the waiting room before going back to get X-rays. Then she took me to the other chair and I saw dentist walking out he door. SHe stopped her & had her look at X-rays & my mouth, but it was less than one minute total. She diagnosed I needed a crown. Everyone was polite enough, but cleaning hurt worse than I've ever had. Am going to get a second opinion, because feel like it was a sales pitch.

Not able to have done what they want me to complete

The office was busy. Sometimes the waits between phases was quite long. It took an hour and 20 minutes to put on two permanent crowns and one fit perfectly the first time. But the people were most polite, kind and seemed very competent.

I was being worked into the schedule because a temporary filing had come out. But a 1 1/2 hour wait was unreasonable.

I was happy with the taking care of the cavity and the dedication to make sure that everything is done right the first time.

All the staff is good... It just takes to long to have partials made... I have been wait 1 year to get all the work done and it is still not finish. Dentists turn off is too often ... My options were not explained to me 1 year ago and now it is costing me more money to get it all right..
