Found this dental office to be very relaxed and professional. Was seen by Dr. Huges and his assistant Ms. Hormelle. Linda also made the checkout a quick procedure. This was my first time there and will be returning.

Anna Marie the person who did the x rays of my mouth and Wendy Dougherty who did my cleaning were excellent Both were very nice and professional. Thank you to both women who made the visits a pleasurable experience.

Every time I get my teeth cleaned with Tabatha, I wonder why I put up with those other technicians at other dentist offices. She is so gentle, and thorough and proactive. She gets a six star from me.

When we moved here 4 years ago, I started using Coast Dental because it was the only dentist in the area that my insurance covered. After the first few visits I knew that even if my insurance allowed me to go to other dentists that I would remain a patient of Coast Dental. The entire staff are very friendly and always explain everything in full detail. I know I'm in good hands at Coast Dental. The only issue I came across was when we first started coming to Coast Dental 4 years ago, the receptionist was not the most pleasant person (not mean, just not overly friendly & seemed to have no personality / people skills). She is no longer with Coast Dental & the new receptionist is wonderful. Always friendly & very, very helpful every time we call or visit. I would highly recommend Coast Dental if you are looking for a dentist.

This was the final step in putting in a crown. The procedure went smoothly and the crown is a very good fit.

There was apparently some confusion when I arrived for my most recent appointment, and the Front Desk had to ask me why I was there. Eventually, by pooling the information on the monitor, the paperwork in my file, and the recollections the technician and I had from my previous visit, we got it figured out. Shouldn't the purpose of my visit be immediately available on the monitor? Later, the dental technician asked me to initial an agreement that my visit would cost something over $600. At my request, the technician went through my file and found that I had already paid something over $800 two visits ago. It would turn out that this appointment would cost me nothing. I suspect that a double billing like this would have been caught at the Front Desk, but it left me with the impression that communication between the Front Desk and the technician could be improved. The work done on my teeth by Coast Dental dentists and technicians is completely satisfactory, but their communication with the Front Desk could be improved.

I was very pleased with the staff and the fast response to my problem after I arrived.

The staff were all pleasant. But there was a 45 min wait time for an 0830 (first appt). Then I was very pleased I could get my cleaning the same day since someone no showed for their appt. The exam room was dirty...thick dust on a magazine rack and the equipment looked stained ( I hope it was stained and not dirt!). Again the staff was very pleasant there seemed to be disorganized. Or maybe there is just something missing and I can't quite put my thumb on it. Need to hire a type a personality for organization and cleanliness ...

I was very pleased that I was able to have the work done without delay. This was partly luck (due to a timely cancellation), but Coast Dental was able to do the work as if it had been scheduled for that time.

The office is usually under-staffed, and the only way I can get through to make or change an appointment is to show up in person - fortunately the office is only 10 minutes from my home - usually nobody picks up the phone. However, if this is a way to keep costs down, I have no complaint!

I understand doctors/dentists run a little behind schedule, but when you have an appointment you shouldn't have to wait an hour or hour & 1/2 to finally get called back into the room. My time is very scheduled so I shouldn't have to wait that long. Both appointments I had within the last two weeks have kept me in the office for over two hours for a 45 minute procedure.
