Dr. Liset Victores, General Dentist
Liset Capote Victores, DMD, brings a wealth of expertise and a passion for dentistry to our team at Coast Dental. A magna cum laude graduate, she placed first in her class at the University of Puerto Rico where she earned her DMD with an outstanding 3.9 GPA. Dr. Victores’ journey in the field began at the University of Havana where she received her initial DMD and went on to specialize in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). Demonstrating her dedication to continuous learning, she further specialized in Dental Emergencies and Orthodontics at the same institution. With her extensive education, Dr. Victores is exceptionally well-versed in a broad range of dental procedures, especially orthodontics, dental emergencies, and general dentistry procedures such as bridges, crowns, fillings, root canals, and various cosmetic dentistry services.
Not only a clinician of the highest caliber, Dr. Victores has a heart for service that echoes through her work. Her commitment to her community flourished during her tenure as an assistant professor at the University of Havana, where she influenced the next generation of dental professionals. Dr. Victores is deeply engaged with community outreach, having contributed her skills and knowledge to programs such as “Give Kids a Smile” and “Dale Cabeza a Tus Sintomas” aimed at providing dental care and education to underserved children and older adults, respectively. She is an esteemed member of the American Dental Association, allowing her to stay at the forefront of dental techniques and technologies. In our office, Dr. Victores offers care in English and Spanish, ensuring that all patients feel comfortable and understood throughout their dental journey.
Dr. Shayegan Farokhrou, General Dentist
Shaye Farokhrou, DMD, is an experienced dental professional dedicated to providing patient-focused care. Dr. Farokhrou earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from Nova Southeastern University. Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Neuroscience from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, and a Bachelor in Cellular & Molecular Biology from Azad University of Medical Science in Tehran, Iran. His comprehensive education supports his precision and care in treating a broad spectrum of dental concerns, from restorative and cosmetic treatments to complex dental implants and endodontic care.
Prior to dental school, Dr. Farokhrou gained hands-on experience as a dental assistant at Goldent Inc., supporting dentists in delivering high-quality care, educating patients, and maintaining an efficient clinical environment. He also contributed to scientific advancement as a stem cell researcher at Tehran University Research Center, exploring regenerative dental treatments using dental pulp stem cells. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys football, Formula 1 racing, music production, and painting. Dr. Farokhrou strives to combine cutting-edge science with compassionate care for every patient.
