Atlanta Oral Surgeon Adam Waksor Joins Coast Dental
Adam Waksor, DDS, has traveled around the world to help people look and feel better.
TAMPA, FL (April 3, 2013) – Coast Dental is proud to welcome oral surgeon Adam Waksor, DDS, to its team of dental specialists and general dentists. Dr. Waksor has more than a decade of experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He specializes in correcting problems with the teeth, gums, jaw and face, including problems caused by birth defects, impacted wisdom teeth and facial trauma. Dr. Waksor’s services include bone grafting, cosmetic surgery, dental implants, extractions, facial trauma surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, ridge augmentation and sinus lifts.
Dr. Waksor has seen first-hand how changing smiles can change lives. For the past 10 years, he’s traveled to underprivileged neighborhoods in Ethiopia, Ecuador and Venezuela to perform cleft lip and palate surgeries. “I enjoy helping people smile more,” Dr. Waksor said.

Dr. Waksor earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York and completed his oral and maxillofacial residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was Chief Resident. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Waksor is an American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons fellow and a diplomate with the American Board of Dental Anesthesiologists. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists.
