New Coast Dental Office in Belleair Bluffs to Feature Advanced Technology

BELLEAIR BLUFFS, FL (April 13, 2012) – When Coast Dental opens its newest location in Belleair Bluffs next week, it will feature advanced technology including an intraoral camera, digital x-rays and oral cancer screening. The practice opens Monday at 2715 West Bay Drive across from Publix and will offer comprehensive family dentistry services to adults and children. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. More than 200 dental insurance plans are accepted and most dental emergencies can be accommodated the same day. Intraoral cameras and digital x-rays enable dentists to display areas of concern on a computer screen and educate patients about treatment options. The practice will use Identafi®, a multispectral imaging device for detecting oral cancer at its earliest and most curable stages. Oral cancer is the sixth deadliest form of cancer and is on the rise, especially among sexually active people who have been exposed to the human papilloma virus (HPV16). In observance of Oral Cancer Awareness Month, patients who do not have dental insurance will receive a $10 discount on the potentially life-saving exam during April.
To help patients maintain healthy and beautiful smiles, the practice will offer dental exams, cleanings, periodontal (gum) therapy, fillings, crowns, bridges, dentures, partials, teeth whitening, veneers, bonding, implant restorations, extractions and root canals.
