I am a picky patient. I got my master's in Medical Sociology so I am very aware of what proper health care is. Cheryl and Dr. Josephson were a dream. I went in terrified and went through two hours of dental work without a hitch. I am no longer scared to see these particular providers. HIGHLY recommend, from a professional patient and a professional student of proper medical care (University of Miami, if you want to know where I got my MA). Cheryl and Dr. J were sensitive and attentive and made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Amazing, haven't felt so comfortable since I was a little kid and my grandpa was my dentist.

I had a few fillings replaced...part of one fell out but they fixed it at no charge.

Great work. Fillings feel smooth and comfortable. He also smoothed out a few roughly-done previous fillings. As you get older, it gets harder to trust a new dentist. But I got over my apprehensions and I'm glad I did. I really liked my previous dentist up north, but I feel this went great. I'll keep going to him.

Extremely impressed with the courteous staff and the care that the dentist took in explaining what needed to be done for me to get my permanent dentures. He truly listened to what I had to say and took the time to answer all of my questions. He even went above and beyond taking time to make it possible for me to utilize the temp dentures I had with me (which I hadn't been able to use for over a year, due to them not fitting properly) until I can get my permanent dentures. Best dental service I have Ever received, since becoming disabled and depending on Medicaid for payment!

Perhaps going to a Dental office is not something most people don't look forward to, but Dr Lewis and his hygienist, Mariela take such good care of their patients you feel confident in their care.

I have been seeing Dr. Ben Lewis for dental work and hygiene for at least 8 years. He has always provided me excellent dental care. He did an excellent job with my front teeth capping and I have never left his office without having a good feeling about my teeth. Tammy, dental assistant, has always done a great job. Kathy and John, office staff, friendly and professional. Mariela, dental hygenist, is also excellent. Going to the dentist isn't always fun, but I look forward to seeing all the staff at Coast Dental-Summerlin, Fort Myers.

I recently had my semiannual teeth cleaning and preventive maintenance at Coast Dental. Although this is not something I look forward to with great anticipation, it was most definitely a very tolerable experience. The Hygienist did everything possible to see that I was well taken care of and completely comfortable during my procedure. I was seen on time. I was in and out quickly with my future six month appointment all set up. I would highly recommend this Coast Dental location. Every experience I have had here has been a pleasant one!

today I had a root canal procedure done, and all I can say is wow. for those of us who has had this procedure done before, dr. lewis is awesome. he used the latest technology and it was a lot less painful. you heard the drill and then all you can feel is the vibration of the machine. I was very much surprise and please. I left there barely any pain/ and discomfort.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to Dr.Lewis and staff for the exceptional care you have taken of me while I go on this life changing journey to being the proud smiling women that I'm meant to be. I have a huge fear of the dentist which led me to having some severely damaged teeth that I am finally getting fixed. Mariela is very thorough but gentle while cleaning my teeth and I no longer dread the procedure. Dr Lewis is so knowledgeable and kind. He doesn't make me feel rushed and I feel comfortable asking questions. This has been my dental office for several years and is by far the best I have ever had.

Showing up on time, I am usually at the office for 2 hours for any restorative work. Often waiting 30 to 40 minutes just to get called in to a chair. Cleanings are much faster. That said, Dr. Lewis is great and does take whatever time is needed with each patient as he does with me so waiting is somewhat understandable and less objectionable.

Excellent visit and assistance transferring insurance from another office back to this one. All staff were terrific, especially Dr. Lewis and his assistant Tammy. I'm happy to be back as a patient with them.

This is my third visit to dr. Lewis. While driving to my appointment my daughter notice how calm was. She asked if I was alright, because normally I be a nervous wreck, agitated and difficult to handle. I have felt very relaxed and calm. The staff are wonderful and I can not praise Dr. Lewis enough. Friendly ladies at the receptionist desk. Place is clean. Doctor is a nice guy and explains to you what is going on.

I have several health issue and a very bad experience with another dentist. when I explain to Dr. Lewis what I wanted he took the time and gave me several options. Christina was very helpful and informative very calming person.

Very professional and friendly.

I reluctantly went to my appointment for my reroot canal. My tooth was painful and very sensitive. I was not looking forward to this at all. The technician and Dr. Lewis explained everything that was going to happen to me. They took extra care to make sure I was comfortable and not in any discomfort. The procedure went very smoothly. I left in much better shape then when I came in. They gave me very clear instructions on what I was and what I was not supposed to do. I will return in six weeks to complete my process. I am a satisfied patient. I would recommend this practice to anyone. It is a pleasure coming here.

I am 31 years old and have never I mean never been to a dentist of any sort. My family growing up was too poor and I suffered for it but I never thought twice about it cause hey screw it I can eat and I am a live so who cares, Now here I am 31 and while my diabetes is under controls the blood sugars are still rotting my teeth and they are falling out and I'm in pain. Constant pain. I made my appt for examination with Dr. Excellent and Daisy; I'm not well versed in what the titles are here so I assume Daisy is the dental assistant to Dr Excellent. Regardless, from the moment they brought me back I was treated with respect, never scoffed at ( I was very self conscious I would be due to the poor shape of my dental hygiene ), no everyone made me feel very much at ease and while informing me of how bad my situation was understood how I had got to this point ans treated me like a human being instead of a paycheck with whom they would have to tolerate. I go back in a week to get the rest of my teeth pulled so we can start on dentures. The procedure was very professional and had an amazingly human element to it. There was no " be a man" or " don't be a baby" that I have heard friends say their dentist elsewhere have said to them . Both Daisy and Dr. Excellent always took time to make sure I was ok and as comfortable as possible. They really made this awful situation into a great experience. I am healing now and feel a million times better. While I was in I mentioned my wife would be coming as she herself had an appt later in the month and they were very eager to try and get her helped as quick as possible. I never got around to discussing what I did myself with the the Dr. aside from that I wrote. I am a psychology student and come across numerous doctors and I can say without a doubt in all of South West Florida this team are the best. Combined with their office manager who tirelessly made my case work. I never thought I would be able to have a normal looking smile and now thanks to these wonderful women I am well on my way and there is not enough words to say thanks.

I started going to Coast Dental - Fort Myers as a result of a dental trauma suffered from a fall. Every 2 weeks I walk in to smiling faces and warm greetings. While Doc is working on the treatment plan for my injured teeth we started a dental regimen. I have ALWAYS been afraid and/or disliked going to the dentist for ANY reason. Yesterday, I had a quadrant scaling and a filing - needless to say, I couldn't even eat breakfast. However, thanks to Mariela, Doc, Tammy and Christina my nerves subsided and I actually left the office with smile on my face! Thanks for all you do!!

Dr Lewis is a True professional and his assistant...just scheduled so tighly back to back with patients that waiting time for patients is excessive; however beyond his control... He makes every patient feel as if they are his only one! I valued his care and time to care for my painful issue... He is Wonderful!!!:)

I had appointment on 11/12/13 to see Dr. Lewis. I wanted him to look at crowns he did and I have been having trouble with. I waited for 1hour and did not see him. The wait time is too long. I made appointment for next day. Wanted to see Dr. And have my teeth cleaned. Was taken into office ,x-rays taken,oral cancer test started,price for cleaning given. Told Dr. Would see me in about 45minutes. Unacceptable. I left again. I made appointment for December for cleaning,but. Am still thinking about returning.

procedures seem to take way to long, spending 3-4 hours in a dental chair doesn't make for a comfortable experience. I like Dr Lewis but he seems to be packing in to many patients at one time which makes patient procedure times way to long.

Thank you for changing my appointment so graciously because of my transportation change. Also for calling me promptly so I was able to have my transportation return to pick up my partial that I had forgot. I appreciated how everything was explained to me after the cleaning. My hygienist was the best!

I have been away for several years due to a change in dental plans. In the past, every time I had an appointment, there would be a new dentist and new technicians. Sometimes they were decent but more often not. They all acted tired and a bit down. I always suspected that moral was low. My last visit had a completely different feel to it. Dr. Lewis seems very competent and focused on the patient. I hope he stays. The technician was good, although there was some confusion about a teeth whitener product I was getting that she thought they didn't carry, but it all worked out in the end.

I have been away for several years due to a change in dental plans. In the past I felt Coast Dental was okay but not great. Every time I went the Doctor had changed and so had the technicians. Everyone was doing their job, but it just wasn't great. Dr. Lewis is the first dentist at Coast Dental that I have confidence in. I hope he stays. The technician was a bit confused about the teeth whitener kit I was ordering and didn't know they carried that product but it all worked out just fine.

Don't know what you want here

I have been going to my Coast Dental for a few years and last week, I had the best experience to date. I always dreaded getting my cleanings with the water laser because my teeth are so sensitive. Instead of asking for a solution, I took it like a man. It was not fun! At this particular appointment, I realized there is a numbing agent that is applied around the gums to desensitize the area. I wish I would have. I wish I would have known about this before. The numbing agent is the best thing that happened to me!! I barely felt anything during the cleaning and if you have been zapped with the water laser before, you know what I mean. Thank you so much for making my day! I look forward to my next appointment. By the way, my hygienist was the best ever, very professional and caring. Thank you!!!
