Dr. Sandra Shaker, General Dentist

Sandra Shaker, DMD, is a dedicated dentist with a wide range of experience in providing comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages and backgrounds. She completed her Doctoral of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine, where she honed her skills in periodontal assessment, oral hygiene, operative dentistry, endodontic therapy, and restorations. During her time at Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Shaker also had the opportunity to provide dental care to patients diagnosed with HIV, acquiring knowledge and skills in taking essential precautions while monitoring HIV-related oral pathologies.

In addition to her education, Dr. Shaker has actively sought out diverse experiences to develop her expertise in different areas of dentistry. She has provided dental care to children with autism at the Pediatric Dental Clinic Autism Program, as well as to pediatric patients at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. Dr. Shaker has also been involved in community-based dental programs, such as the Community Based Dental Partnership Program and Kids In Distress, where she provided care to underserved populations. Furthermore, she has participated in remote dental outreach programs, including REMOTE AREA MEDICAL (RAM) and Florida Mission of Mercy, where she delivered comprehensive procedures to remote underserved areas.

Dr. Sandra Shaker is a member of professional organizations such as the American Student Dental Association and the American Dental Association, demonstrating her commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry.
