Janel Aslan, DDS, is a distinguished member of the Coast Dental team, bringing a rich background in both education and practical experience. Dr. Aslan earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious Indiana University School of Dentistry after completing a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Biology at the University of South Florida. Dr. Aslan’s proficiency in a comprehensive range of dental procedures allows her to deliver exceptional care to her patients. With a hands-on approach to dentistry, she excels in creating personalized treatment plans that are as unique as the individuals she serves.
Before joining Coast Dental, Dr. Aslan honed her skills and deepened her knowledge of advanced practices at Lux Dental Spa in Palm Harbor, FL, where she not only practiced general dentistry but also undertook complex procedures such as implant placement surgeries and bone grafts. Her commitment to patient care was further demonstrated through her participation in on and off-site clinical rotations during her tenure at Indiana University, tackling challenges in pediatrics, oral surgery, periodontology, endodontics, and emergency cases. Fluent in both Arabic and English, Dr. Aslan is able to connect with a diverse patient base, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and understood. Outside the office, she enjoys exploring new cuisines and cherishing time with her family. Dr. Aslan’s dedication to her craft and her patients makes her a valuable asset to the Coast Dental team, where she continues to contribute to healthy smiles and happy lives.
Dr. Travis Williams, Oral Surgeon
Travis Williams, DDS, is a dedicated oral health professional delivering exceptional care to his patients. Dr. Williams graduated with honors from the University of Tampa before earning his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania. There, he graduated at the top of his class and was recognized for his leadership and academic excellence. Dr. Williams went on to complete his medical degree and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Having grown up in South Tampa and St. Pete Beach, Dr. Williams is excited to be back serving the community after his years of advanced training. With his educational background, Dr. Williams is able to perform a wide variety of procedures including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, jaw surgery, facial trauma, cosmetic procedures, and more.
Patients know Dr. Williams for his compassion, attention to detail, and commitment to providing the highest quality surgical care in a comfortable setting. Outside of work, Dr. Williams and his wife enjoy traveling, playing golf, and spending time on the water with friends and family.
Dr. Alesia Rockwell, General Dentist
Alesia Rockwell, DMD, is a gentle, caring, and dedicated general dentist who is passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable with their smiles. She began her dental career in Russia, graduating from Izhevsk State Medical Academy in 2013 and practicing for two years before moving to the United States. Her journey continued as she became a registered dental hygienist and later graduated with honors from the International Dental Graduate Program at Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Rockwell offers a wide range of services in general and family dentistry, with particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, root canal therapy, oral surgery, Invisalign, and working with children. She is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care using the latest techniques and a compassionate approach.
When she’s not in the office, Dr. Rockwell enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on the water, walking with her dog Archie, cooking at home, and discovering new cuisines and cultures through travel. She believes that building strong relationships — both in and out of the office — is at the heart of great dental care.
